This month, in December 2023, I was very touched to receive this email from someone whom I do not know but who has permitted me to publish the content.
I recall that when I was a Havant Borough Councillor, I tried to help a Veteran who was sleeping rough and attended the Council Office seeking help; the heartless Conservative-run Council called the Police who removed him from the Offices for him to remain sleeping rough on the streets. This is NOT the way our veterans should be treated.

I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. As a concerned citizen, a proud veteran, and a third-generation paratrooper, I strongly believe that our great country is in dire need of significant change to prevent it from sinking further and to regain its standing on the world stage. Today, I write to you with a sense of urgency, urging you to fight for the soul of our great country which is the answer to our nation's woes.
First and foremost, let me express my unwavering love for this country. Having dedicated my life to serving and protecting it, I have witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and potential of our people. However, recent years have brought forth challenges that demand immediate attention and a fresh approach.
Our nation's reputation on the world stage is at stake. We find ourselves enduring embarrassment due to internal divisions, faltering leadership, and outdated policies. It is high time we take action to rectify this situation and restore our nation's pride. The Reform Party looks like it presents a formidable platform that addresses these pressing issues head-on.
What sets the Reform Party apart is its commitment to fostering positive change through comprehensive reforms. By advocating for innovative and inclusive policies, the party aims to rebuild trust, bridge divides, and create a brighter future for all citizens. Their vision encompasses economic revitalization, social justice, and a reinvigorated global standing for our country.
As a veteran, I understand the sacrifices made by those who have served our nation, and I recognize the importance of leaders who truly understand the needs of the military community. The Reform Party places great emphasis on supporting our veterans, ensuring access to quality healthcare, expanding employment opportunities, and providing the resources necessary for a successful transition to civilian life.
